COVID-19 has affected the way that many clinicians provide therapy to children. Since March 2020, most occupational therapy practitioners working in pediatrics were mandated to provide services via tele-therapy with minimal time to prepare. This was especially difficult for practitioners new to using this service delivery method. Whether you work in early intervention, preschool, or school-age, the use of tele-therapy came with many challenges. This webinar will focus on providing ideas for how to make your tele-therapy experience more effective.

Learning Objectives

Following this course module, participants will be able to:

  • identify challenges using tele-therapy that can be altered to facilitate a more effective session
  • better prioritize treatment goals to provide more effective treatment intervention
